Welcome to Peru. Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our host team will greet you and assist with your private transfer to Miraflores, Lima’s most exclusive district. Along the way, you will enjoy your first views of the Pacific Ocean and the city’s vibrant blend of colonial and contemporary architecture.
After an exquisite breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, a private host will welcome you and accompany you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, allowing for a gradual adaptation to the altitude.
This day will be dedicated to exploring the living traditions of the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Chinchero, a village where the colors and ancestral techniques of Inca weaving are still preserved. At a local textile center, master weavers will share the secrets of natural dyes and Andean patterns.
After breakfast surrounded by the serenity of the valley, we will head to Ollantaytambo station to board the Belmond Hiram Bingham, the most exclusive train in South America. This elegant vintage-style train offers first-class service with live music, gourmet cuisine and unlimited cocktails while journeying into the heart of the Andes.
We will begin the morning with a second visit to Machu Picchu, this time with the option of ascending Wayna Picchu to enjoy an incomparable panoramic view.
In the morning, we will explore the city of Cusco, beginning with Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, followed by Sacsayhuamán, the impressive Inca fortress built with colossal stone blocks. We will also visit San Blas, the artisans’ quarter, home to unique galleries and workshops.
