Itinerary

Day 1 | Journey to Puno – Crossing the Heights of the Altiplano

Traveling by Train to Puno Today we leave Cusco behind and embark on a panoramic journey toward Puno, crossing the spectacular landscapes of the Andean highlands. This route, known as the Route of the Sun, takes us through valleys, snow-capped peaks and communities that have preserved their traditions for centuries.

The journey aboard the Titicaca Train allows us to travel in comfort, enjoying privileged views through expansive windows while savoring lunch onboard. Along the route, we stop at emblematic sites such as Andahuaylillas, home to the so-called “Sistine Chapel of America”; Raqchi, with the remains of the majestic Temple of Wiracocha; and La Raya, the highest point of the journey, from where we contemplate the vastness of the Andean highlands.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Puno, on the shores of the legendary Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and cradle of ancient myths and legends. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel to rest in complete tranquility.

Day 2 | Lake Titicaca – Uros and Taquile Islands, Where Time Stands Still

We awaken to the golden light of sunrise reflecting upon the waters of Lake Titicaca, a serene spectacle that seems to suspend time itself. After breakfast, we board our boat to begin exploring this mystical lake, surrounded by history, silence and living traditions.

Our first stop is at the floating islands of the Uros, a world built upon reed platforms where this community has preserved its ancestral way of life for centuries. Here, we will discover their traditions, their connection to the lake and the extraordinary way they have adapted to nature.

We then continue toward Taquile Island, a place where textile traditions are an essential part of local identity. Its open landscapes, peaceful atmosphere and strong sense of community transform the visit into a deeply authentic experience. Throughout the journey, we take the time to appreciate every detail without rush.

At the end of the day, we return to Puno to rest and enjoy a peaceful evening by the lakeshore.

Day 3 | Puno – Serene Navigation and Rest by the Lake

After breakfast, this day has been designed to experience Titicaca at a slower, more contemplative pace. Depending on the final approach you wish to give the program, it may include a more relaxed private navigation across the lake, a light cultural visit around Puno or simply free time to enjoy the hotel and the scenery in complete calm.

The purpose of this day is to balance the journey and allow the experience to unfold without feeling rushed. It is the perfect day for travelers who value the silence of the highlands, the beauty of the surroundings and the opportunity to rest without sacrificing the depth of the destination.

In the afternoon, return to the hotel and free time to enjoy one final night in Puno, embraced by the unique serenity of the lake.

Day 4 | Puno – Juliaca – Flight to Lima

After breakfast, and at the scheduled time, we arrange the private transfer from the hotel to Juliaca Airport. The journey is carried out with the calm and comfort necessary to conclude the trip in a relaxed and organized manner.

Assistance at the airport for boarding the flight to Lima, carrying with you the experience of having discovered Lake Titicaca at a serene pace, with comfort, authenticity and a genuine connection to the Peruvian highlands.
